Day to Evening
There are so many pieces in everyone's wardrobe that can be taken from day to evening just by switching up the accessories. Below is a Polyvore collection I have been working on little by little and have found many fun ways to take simple clothing items from noon to night on the town.
Hope you enjoy! :)

Sunday Best
In spite of the fact that I felt crummy this morning I still managed to get it together for church. Thankfully I had put this outfit together ahead of time and didn't have to think too much about what I was going to wear. When I feel crummy the last thing I want to do is put any thought into an outfit. How I feel is usually how I dress. This outfit managed to brighten my mood a bit. I'm feeling much better now :)
This ensemble features my current favorite boots. Be warned that you may see these repeated in other outfits. It was in the high 40s today so the combination of the sweater over the dress and tights kept me warm without a coat.
A big thank you to my friend Carrie who has decided to take on the task of snapping pictures for me in my future blogs. She did a great job today and this turned out way better than my last photo blog where I managed to put together something using my tripod.
Another thank you goes out to my husband who showed me how to use Photoshop today :)

My Spring Wishlist
With the winter chill taking over the air I'm beginning to wish for warmer temperatures and some new pieces for my spring wardrobe.

Staying Warm
It began snowing on our college campus last night and it is still coming down. I haven't left my apartment much today but when I did I decided to cozy up in a chunky grey sweater and the warmest pair of boots I own (it's 17 degrees out there!). I threw a splash of red on my lips to give a little pop of color to the neutral colors I was wearing. The black and purple scarves I am wearing in the last picture helped keep me warm against the winter winds.

Back to Work Fashion
This is one of the most recent sets I've created on Polyvore.com. I have been a member since 2010 and love playing with different styles and exploring creativity in fashion. This is a wonderful website for creating new looks and sharing them with others. This look is one I created for the woman who has to go back to the office after the holiday season is over. I'm not currently working in an office environment but if I was I could see myself strolling into work wearing this ensemble.
