Just a casual day lounging around the house and running a few errands. I love these green skinny jeans; they are so comfortable.

I recently took a break from my internship at the newspaper to spend time visiting with family and friends and celebrate my recent birthday. I'm so happy I was able to see some friends I had not seen in a long time and had a blast laughing are remembering old times. 

Tomorrow I'm back to work (even though it's not really work to me). I can't wait! :)

Hey everyone! Here are some of my most recent Polyvore creations for spring and summer. I love the bright corals and teals of the season and love using them as a pop of color or to stand out as the main focus. When it comes to bright colors and summer, anything goes :)

Orange Pop

Whew! I've been working hard this week for my internship, but it feels so great to do what I love! I'm really starting to feel like I'm getting in the swing of things. I'll be sad when I have to go back to classes in the fall.

Today I kept it comfortable in the office with white jeans and wedges. I added an orange bag and colorful bracelet to pop against the neutral palette of my outfit. My lipstick is from the new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the color Lovesick. I originally wanted to go for a natural shade, but I said "You know what? I'm going for the bold color!" I don't take near enough risks in my makeup and this one worked out great. 

I love all the little pops of color in this outfit, especially since black is one of my favorite colors. I'm excited I found a way to include this breezy blouse in my spring wardrobe.

Approaching Summer

Wow was it hot today! I'm pretty sure it was close to 90 degrees (and I live in the mountains). I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Its almost June and almost officially summer. As always, spring goes by way too quickly.

This is also the time of year when it gets too hot for me to hold a hair dryer to my head for too long. Today I opted for my natural waves instead of blow-drying it straight like I usually do. After it has air-dried, I use a little styling cream to add shine and definition. 

I'm also getting very excited to visit my friend, Carrie, next week. During the semester I literally saw her everyday. She's one of my favorite people and I can't wait to have some girl time with her (makeup, chick flicks, shopping....the usual girly stuff). Hopefully I'll get some good pictures during my trip that I can share next week.
